Imagine What A Nissan Z Convertible Might Look Like
by AutoExpert | 24 February, 2022
Considering that the new Z is based on the same chassis as the 370Z, Nissan should be able to remove the hardtop without causing any difficulties. As you can see in these images by the talented designer Sugar Design from Instagram, a Z Convertible might look fantastic.
To make Nissan Z a convertible, Sugar Design had to develop a new decklid for the vehicle. Behind the driver's and passenger's seats are two conspicuous roll hoops.
Meanwhile, we believe if the carmaker does release a convertible version of the new Nissan Z, it will have a folding soft-top like the 370Z Convertible, instead of a retractable hardtop. Nissan announced reservations for the 2023 Z in Canada earlier this month but said it would not be doing so in the US. The car's on-sale date and price in the United States have yet to be determined, however, it is believed to start at about $40,000.
