If Tesla's Yoke Wheel Isn't Your Style, This Tuner Can Help
by AutoExpert | 21 January, 2022
Tesla's new Model S and Model X yoke steering wheels have sparked controversy, and Tesla tuner T Sportline has a solution for drivers who want a more conventional design. The wheel is still a little out of the ordinary since it not only has a flat bottom, but also has a nearly flat upper half.
A hand upholstered treatment is offered for $2,299, while a carbon fiber finish is available for $3,499. Purchasers will need to budget an additional $500 for the core charge since T Sportline will take the original core and airbag unit from the OEM wheel and install it in the new. After this procedure is complete, the cost will be refunded to customers.
Tesla's new steering wheel may be stylish, but it will no longer be possible to heat the wheel on vehicles equipped with the cold weather kit. T Sportline now provides regular yoke steering wheels with a carbon fiber finish for $2,999 or refinished in any color of leather and stitching for $1,499 for Tesla Model S and Model X customers who are satisfied with their regular yoke steering wheels.
