Hyundai Intrado is a concept that represents a small-sized SUV, most likely from the B segment, whose first teaser image was unveiled by the Koreans long before the 2014 Geneva Motor Show where is to be officially presented.
Those from Hyundai revealed also the name of the concept developer - Hyundai Europe design studio. As we can see from the picture published by the Namyang manufacturer, the Fluidic Sculpture design language has evolved, having reached at version 2.0, this time in a European interpretation.
The engineers from Russelsheim were responsible both for the design and the technical part of the Hyundai Intrado. The team has built an engine system with fuel cells, which uses hydrogen in order to develop electricity.
The system is a scale version of the technical solution used by ix35 Fuel Cell, the Hyundai serial model powered by hydrogen. The Intrado name is inspired from an airplane wing bottom, the key-section that provides high lift. The concept's technical aspects were also inspired from the aeronautic industry, the Hyundai representatives said.
