The company's representatives believe that, in the future, these cars will be not only a transportation manner but will also act as a mobile energy source.
The total length of the prototype structure is 3800 mm, the width reaches 1750 mm and the height is 1540 mm. the dimension comes to a total of 3000 mm.
FCV Plus is equipped with four electric engines, one at each wheel. The engines are powered by fuel cells, which generate energy through a chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen.
The fuel cell unity is situated between the front wheels and a comprised hydrogen tank, which is installed behind the back seats.
At the moment, Toyota is producing one single hydrogen model - Mirai. The electric central, which develops 153 hp, allows the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in 9 seconds.
The prices for the series models vary from approximately 58 to 62 thousand dollars. There will be one more hybrid car introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show - Built-hydrogen Honda FCV.
