Hongqi LS7 Is A Chinese Giant
by AutoExpert | 14 April, 2022
The LS7, a luxury ICE-powered SUV with a big footprint and a lavish interior, was just introduced by Chinese automaker Hongqi. Hongqi LS7 was set to debut at the Beijing Auto Show, but due to the postponement, Hongqi made it public online.
With a massive grille encircled by chrome, full-LED split headlights, and red highlights as a tribute to Hongqi's name and origins, the design is formidable.
The retractable side steps, full-width LED taillights, and conventional full-size SUV dimensions with a broad bonnet and a lengthy rear overhang are among the other highlights.
The steering wheel is plainly influenced by Rolls-Royce, and the wood on the dash, center console, and doors is the real show-stopper. For a rich ambiance, it is mixed with gold trim and leather upholstery. The Hongqi LS7 has auto climate control, dual displays on the dash, and a set of screens for the back seats.
A turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 develops 360 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque under the hood. This may be why the Hongqi LS7's peak speed is limited to 124 mph. The Hongqi LS7 is expected to hit the market in the third quarter of 2022. The price will start at ¥1.5 million, (over $235,000).
