Great Wall Motors Tank 500 Looks A Lot Like Toyota Land Cruiser

China's automobile sector is booming, but Chinese automakers are known for openly copying designs from Western carmakers. China's Great Wall Motors has introduced the Tank 500, a huge body-on-frame SUV that will be offered under the company's new Tank off-roader sub-brand. It's no surprise that it looks a lot like the Toyota Land Cruiser, it appears to be roughly the same.
The Land Cruiser copycat was only confirmed for China at the time, but it will be available in Australia in 2022.
According to the firm, the fuel and hybrid versions of the Tank series will be released at the same time to provide buyers with more options.
This means that the Tank 500 will be the first model to be supplied, as it is the only vehicle having both combustion and hybrid powertrains. A turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system help to make 349 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque in the hybrid version.
The premium interior has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, with seating for up to seven people in three rows. The Tank 500 is a competent off-roader with coil-spring suspension, front and rear locking differentials, and a body-on-frame chassis.
