GER 800 By Manhart: The Ultimate Performance Upgrade For Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe
by AutoExpert | 26 July, 2024
The new GER 800 project is Manhart's take on the well-known Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic Coupe; it upgrades the performance SUV with a wider bodykit, larger wheels, a throatier exhaust, a lowered suspension, and a respectable amount of power.
An extra electric compressor, together with improvements to the turbos, electronic control unit (ECU), and exhaust system, allows AMG's twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 to produce an astounding 789 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque.
This results in an increase of 186 horsepower and 111 lb-ft over the standard variant. A more robust exhaust system, with two 300-cell catalytic converters and OPF-Delete Sport downpipes, is available for the GER 800.
Carbon fiber parts adorn the GLE's exterior, including broad fender extensions and bumper inserts that match the bodywork. A vented hood and an expanded ducktail spoiler are further features that enhance the car.
Manhart customized their exhibition car with a set of bright yellow decals that stood out against the matte, dark green paint and exposed carbon fiber. Modern 23-inch Manhart Concave One alloy wheels with a satin black coating and yellow accent strips are mounted on the GER 800. The front tires are 285/35ZR23, while the rear tires are 325/30ZR23.
In addition to the lowered stance that Mercedes-AMG had already provided, Manhart adjusted the air suspension of the performance flagship of the GLE Coupe line, bringing it 1.2 inches closer to the ground. According to the tuner, new coupling rods might potentially reduce ground clearance to a comparable extent. Meanwhile, the interior has leather and Alcantara upholstery in black with yellow stitching, as well as carbon fiber elements,, and headrests and floor mats emblazoned with Manhart logos.
The prices of the modifications are yet unknown, but anyone interested may always reach out to the tuner directly.
