Genesis To Introduce Suicide Doors? Wow!

Whoa, look who's getting dressed! Genesis, the Korean premium automaker, has filed a patent with the German Patent and Trade Mark Office. And guess what? They're cooking up their very own version of those infamous suicide doors. How daring!
The company desires to have car doors that do not rely on B-pillars for support. The patent describes a unique hinge mechanism that utilizes rotatable claw levers, rails, and grooves.
The reason for this is that Genesis aims to allow users to open and close both the front and rear doors simultaneously or separately without the added size and weight of a B-pillar. Without a supporting B-pillar, the space feels much more expansive as soon as the door is opened.
Additionally, a rear door that opens in the opposite direction is helpful for people boarding/leaving the vehicle. Genesis also highlights the design's adventurous capabilities. Now there is nothing to do but wait for Genesis' next move.
