German tuner GeigerCars celebrates its 45th anniversary with a special edition Stingray Chevrolet, packed with performance upgrades that will thrill any car enthusiast. And what enhancements are they without engine improvements?
The 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 now produces an astounding 522 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque. A performance exhaust system, an updated intake manifold, and tweaks to the engine's software allowed the Z51 Corvette to generate additional horsepower.
The tuner upgraded the braking system with new six-piston calipers up front and 13.9-inch rotors in the back. Meanwhile, the front wheels are 14.8 inches in diameter. Also, the car boasts stunning bronze OZ Ultraleggera HLT wheels and KW V5 Clubsport coilovers for improved handling.
A carbon fiber front splitter, rear lip spoiler, and air ducts elevate the car's appearance. Upgrades to the Corvette's interior include redesigned seats upholstered in beige leather with light beige contrast stitching in other places and finished in black upholstery.
German buyers may expect to pay almost $162,000 (€149,900) for the 45th limited edition Corvette C8 Stingray.
