Firanse R3 - The 3D Printed Car From 2040
by AllAutoExperts | 4 February, 2016
This is an electric concept car, suitable for 2040, with 3D printing being an important part of it. Ok, 3D prints aren't new to us, but the capacity of 3D printing developed by Luis Cordoba is something different.
Firanse R3 has been created by Luis for the future, the approximately year 2040. He imagines 3D printing reaching some sort of revolution in that period and becoming more accessible.
The Firanse concept consists of 2 parts the cabin with the seats, batteries, and the main controls and the second the brakes, the electric engines, and the rest of the technical parts.
The great thing about it is that if any part of Firanse R3 gets damaged, it could be easily re-projected and printed again. This makes the car's parts reusable and the possible damages - not so scary anymore.
