Ferrari 250 GTO sets a new record: the most expensive car in the world

For those who want an exclusive car, an auction house is auctioning an extremely rare model - the famous Ferrari 250 GTO Series 1, produced in 1962.
"Ferrari 250 GTO Series 1 is a model that no longer needs an introduction and is probably the best product in the history of Italian Scudery. The car has a great history and was kept in an excellent state by all its owners. Between 1962 and 1964 there were produced only 39 copies of Ferrari 250 GTO which again underlines its status as a masterpiece of the auto world and this is how the auction house introduced it.
This exotic Ferrari is powered by a 3.0-liter V12 engine with 300 horsepower capable of delivering a maximum speed of 280 km/h and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds.
Just six months ago, a similar copy belonging to the famous Stirling Moss, was sold for 31 million dollars, setting a new record for the most expensive car in the world. A record that could be beaten again as the auction house is expecting this copy to sell for 41 million dollars.
