Maybach EQS SUV concept has been formally unveiled by Mercedes-Benz. The near-production concept car was created to preview the future electric crossover, which is slated to debut in 2023. It is characterized as a luxury vehicle for the 21st century.
Ultra-luxury model comes in Zircon Red and Obsidian Black Metallic. A fine-knit mesh of the Maybach logo encircles the thin LED headlamps. Additionally, there's a black body kit and gigantic 24-inch wheels that look like they're shaped like bowls.
Aerodynamically enhanced running boards, full-width taillights, and flush-mounted door handles round out the model's features. They're also entirely automatic and lengthen when the driver gets closer. Driver's door automatically opens as they approach, and they can also open the rear doors remotely.
Maybach EQS SUV concept has a revolutionary steering wheel and a full-width Hyperscreen monitor for the front passenger, which incorporates a 12.3-inch screen. An oversized floating console, rose gold details and a faux fur floor covering are also featured.
EQS SUV concept from Mercedes-Maybach features two executive seats divided by an attractive console in the back passenger area, which is the center of attention. Last but not least, there's a flower vase and drink holders, as well as a high-tech armrest with an embedded infotainment system built in.
In addition to a back seat entertainment system, Mercedes envisions offering specific equipment options such as folding tables, champagne goblets, or a refrigerator section.
There were no specifics given, but the company did disclose it rides on their new electric vehicle platform and teases the EQS SUV that will be released next year. Maybach's crossover will join, with a WLTP range of roughly 373 miles (600 km).
