When an automaker wants to make its path across the giants in the car industry, it might be obliged to bring something unexpected to the market. There's a say about electric supercars the more power - the better. Previously known as Elektron Innovative, this new German company, Elektron Motors - brings some muscles on the market by revealing a 2,299 horsepower supercar.
Despite having the most powerful concept in mind, the company's team also wants to focus and maintain a down weight. Keep in mind that this is an all-electric car, and to deliver such power, the weight is significant to keep a fair balance. Electrik Motors wants to keep no more than 3,307 pounds on the ground.
The new Elektron supercar will have one electric motor on each wheel. To ensure enhanced handling, they decided to get the Elektron Smart Torque Vectoring feature for this Quasar. For a stunning appearance, the automaker claims that this supercar will have a LED light strip that runs from the top of one headlight to the top of the other.
The Elektron Smart Torque Vectoring shows a wowing track performance - the Quasar promises a 0-62 mph (0-100km/h) sprint in just 1.65 seconds with a 280 mph (450 km/h) limited top speed. Now everyone is amazed at such a jewel on a road though it's a crazily performant car to impress your girlfriend next to you. We guess a rollercoaster could be less scary.
With the production limited to just 99 units for this muscle craziness and arrival on the market scheduled for 2023, the price could start at $2.6 million. Imagine in two years, Elektron parading on the roads and making some loud noise. Let's hope for an undisturbed schedule without delays because right now, this 2,299 hp car appears too good to be true.
