Electric Crossover Concept Based On The Citroen 2CV

Designer Dejan Hristov presented a rebirth of the legendary Citroen 2CV as an electric crossover. Because the designer didn't want to try to reimagine something that had already been done, he stuck with the classic shape and proportions of the 1948-1990 2CV.
The 2CV is brought up to date with tinted LED headlights, a clean grille, contoured bodywork, mirror-replacing cameras, and full-width taillights. The designer opted for an elevated crossover style rather than a traditional hatchback.
The added ride height and larger alloy wheels dressed in a set of grippy tires helped achieve this. In order to maintain a refined appearance, the bumpers and side sills only have a minimal amount of plastic cladding.
When the roof is retracted, you may enjoy an open-air driving that echoes the classic.
The equipment is significantly different from that of the 2CV period. The five-seater cabin of the 2CV EV would thus include all of the necessary conveniences, such as an infotainment touchscreen, air con, and power windows.
The Citroen 2CV EV could be based on Stellantis' STLA Small platform, although the design study is conceptual and will never leave the digital realm.
