DS Produced An Elegant Toy Car

A special ride-on automobile designed just for children was unveiled by DS Automobiles in time for the holidays. The toy car was built as a one-of-a-kind present for the son of two-time Formula E champion Jean-Éric Vergne and is thus not for sale.
Paris-based DS Design Studio created this one-off baby walker. So that father and son may travel in style, it was modeled after the limited-edition DS 4 E-Tense 225 Performance Line + made for racing driver Jean-Éric Vergne.
A slick satin anthracite grey paint job complements the lacquered black accents on this baby walker. The front fascia takes design cues from DS Automobile and has a "Leo" logo, DS insignia, grille-style stickers, and the brand's distinctive lights.
Alcantara was used to cover the single seat, and gold and carmine thread were used for the stitching. The steering wheel is also crafted from leather to match the interior. According to DS Automobiles, the toy's peak speed and acceleration are dependent on the driver's physical capabilities. The present for the lucky kid will soon be waiting for him under the Christmas tree.
