Does Renegade Design's Body Kit Improve The Look Of The BMW XM?
by AutoExpert | 4 August, 2023
If the BMW XM's styling doesn't do it for you, Renegade Design may provide an interesting alternative. The tuner's newest body kit is in limited production and available for pre-orders. The first run of 10 kits, all of which are uniquely numbered and beautifully constructed, is a tribute to painstaking attention to detail.
Renegade Design appropriately named this kit the Stellar X after Elon Musk's SpaceX project and the cosmos. Not only does the modification alter the BMW XM's appearance, but it also embodies the spirit of limitless possibilities.
Renegade Design allows for some customization, with options including classy gloss black plastic or the richness of forged or braided carbon. A carbon fiber kidney grille surround, carbon front air intake inserts, and a meticulously engineered carbon/basalt front bumper splitter are just some of the elements included in the extensive package.
Notable examples of carbon and basalt integration are the fender flares, side skirts, door lower rocker panel covers, roof spoiler, vent inserts in the rear bumper, and imposing rear diffuser. In contrast, carbon fiber is extensively used for the glasshouse's side moldings, mirror caps, and fancy exhaust tip trims.
In addition to the cosmetic upgrades, the Renegade Design package includes bigger forged wheels in a wide range of eye-catching styles and colors. Although specific component costs have not been released, a premium could be expected. The Stellar X kits will finally begin shipping in September.
