Devel Sixteen Production Version Was Spotted On Public Roads

Dubai-based Devel declared its plans to build the radically designed hypercar with a 12.3-liter quad-turbocharged V-16 as early as 2013. Now it's been nine years, and Devel's promise of a Bugatti-rivaling vehicle has failed to materialize.
Devel has now published fresh videos on its YouTube page showing what's said to be a production-ready version of the Sixteen completing road and track tests in Italy, where the majority of the work is taking place. These are encouraging indicators, considering the initiative had previously encountered serious difficulties.
Road & Track published a detailed study in 2018 that put the Sixteen in a state of near-death. First, Manufattura Automobili Torino (MAT) reportedly parted ways with the company before any substantial progress was made.
MAT assisted Glickenhaus with the 003 and Apollo with the Intensa Emozione and is currently collaborating with Janarelly on the creation of the Design-1 sports car.
Devel Sixteen was also said to have several oddities, such as a propensity to overheat in real driving situations. In 2017, Steve Morris Engines, the business apparently behind the hypercar's V-16, shared a video of the engine being tested on a dyno. The engine's estimated top output is 5,007 hp and 3,757 lb-ft of torque.
Engineers also apparently struggled to keep the automobile on the ground since it tended to take off at high speeds.
Isn't it horrible when you're trying to hit more than 300 mph? The most recent videos may be confirmation that the Devel Sixteen still exists. We can only wait and see what happens.
