Cupra Formentor VZ5 Unveils Century Bronze and Enceladus Grey Limited Editions
by AutoExpert | 15 February, 2024
Cupra offers a special touch to the high-performance Formentor VZ5 with two, still fresh from the oven, limited editions. Each will be limited to only 222 examples suggesting the brand’s anniversary date - February 22.
The models stand out thanks to their special edition paint and extravagant design elements. The new models are called Formentor VZ5 Century Bronze Limited and the Enceladus Grey Limited editions - the last-mentioned model shares the same name with a giant of Greek myth and one of Saturn’s moons.
The Century Bronze limited edition is finished in Century Bronze Matt paint and features copper exhaust pipe tips and carbon fiber copper mirror caps. Century Bronze will take over the world on 20-inch copper alloy wheels - black wheels are also available.
The improvements do not stop here; the model receives CUPBucket seats in black, and dark chrome Cupra lettering on the badges. Alongside, copper logos inside and out and a stitched black dashboard.
The other special edition is given a special finish shade called Enceladus Grey Matt. As a standard, the model comes trimmed with 20-inch black alloy wheels, black-finished mirror covers, and exhaust tips. Cooper wheels are available as an option.
In addition, it receives CUPBucket seats, a black dashboard, as well as the dark chrome Cupra engraving.
As an all-time reminder that customers own a special edition, the automaker decided to add a laser-engraved unit number on the door panel moldings.
Cupra Formentor VZ5 is the variant with the highest performance figures in the lineup, and both models are fully packed.
The name “VZ5” comes from “Veloz” in Spanish for speed and the number of cylinders in the engine. The power unit produces 386 hp delivered to the wheels through a DSG dual-clutch transmission.
Prices for the limited editions have not been announced yet.
The limited editions pay tribute to the VZ5 model, offering a modern interpretation of the vehicle’s sporty esthetic and improving the design both in and out - stated Sven Schuwirth, executive VP for sales and marketing.
