Chinese Evergrande Hengchi 7, 8, and 9 Electric Vehicles Are Officially Launched
by AutoExpert | 24 February, 2021
Evergrande decided to simultaneously launch not two but three new electric vehicles named Hengchi 7, Hengchi 8, and Hengchi 9. After launching the first six planned production vehicles last December, they offer now the most attractive EVs, and by their name, you can guess that the previous five had a consecutive number ad to their name.
Now, despite launching these vehicles, there is still no specific date when they will actually hit the market, but by looking at the photos, itțs no surprise that it will be a success. Having a common naming, still, each model was designed independently, by a different designer.
The Hengchi 7 was designed by the former head of design at Isuzu, Satomi Maruyama. HE combined the shape of the sleek design, borrowing its T-shaped headlights, LED light bar at the rear, and a black and white paint finish.
The Hengchi 8, designed by Stephane Schwartz, ex-director of design at Nissan Europe, features slim LED headlights, while encompassing horizontal LED daytime running lights and a blacked-out grille.
The Hengchi9 is the tremendous work by Jason Clark Hill, which worked both Porsche and Mercedes-Benz, turning it into a medium-sized SUV. Starting here, the designer created high belt-line, unique headlights connected with LED light bar that stretches along with the front quarter panels, continuing till the rear LED light bar.
Are intrigued already? Yet, there’s still time to wait for the technical details to be revealed.
