Chevrolet FNR Concept - Autonomous Concept Car Of The Future!
by AllAutoExperts | 3 October, 2015
Those from Chevrolet propose a vision of the future of autonomous automobiles. It's a Concept car called the Chevrolet FNR Concept and comes from the world of SF.
Not only does it look like it's from a science fiction movie, but it also acts like an SF movie.
Developed by GM's Pan Asia Technical Automotive Division Center, FNR Concept is presented as an autonomous electric vehicle. And it has laser optical blocks and door type "dragon". And can charge wireless.
The interior is not outdone as regards SF. FNR Concept is activated using a retinal scanner and has rotating front seats - being able to turn 180 degrees if the road is too boring and passengers are in the mood for a card game or something.
If the driver wants to take control over the machine he only needs to make a gesture (technology already present on the new BMW 7 Series).
The propulsion is ensured by FNR Concept's four electric motors and in order to able to move autonomously, it has radar sensors on the roof - which records all data relating to the direction, speed, and machine elements.
