Electric vehicles are the ultimate incredible invention that can make a 2,000-mile road trip with energy equivalent to one tank of gas. Believe it or not, but the tires have big impacts on EV ranges. If on a combust car the tires save fuel, in EVs they are way more important for the miles added to the range.

For example, the Model 3 Performance wheel options are 39 miles, but the Model S and Model X Performance can travel 26 miles more with smaller wheels and taller tires.
