Cadillac InnerSpace Concept: A Sophisticated Autonomous Coupe
by AutoExpert | 6 January, 2022
The new InnerSpace concept was introduced at CES by Cadillac. The InnerSpace is a stunning two-passenger electric and self-driving luxury car. Cadillac InnerSpace concept incorporates a fully enclosed and lighted grille flanked by vertical lighting units, although the business did not go into many details.
A wedge-shaped greenhouse and a panoramic glass roof that raises with the doors for a more pleasant entry and exit are located further back. Digital side mirrors, enormous wheels, and a sloping back end with no glass are further remarkable features.
Cadillac InnerSpace concept is also fitted with specially manufactured Goodyear tires that are made from soybean oil and rice husk-based silica rather than petroleum-based oil. It's not just the outside that makes the InnerSpace stand out; it's also the inside.
The concept has lounge-style front chairs with power-deployable footrests, making the ride more enjoyable. "Augmented Reality Engagement, Entertainment, and Wellness Recovery themes" are provided by an interactive and panoramic SMD LED display.
The design also has screens in the doors and a front storage box that can carry pillows, blankets, and slippers, according to Cadillac. A spacious baggage compartment, floating headrests, and lighted accents are also included.
Cadillac didn't provide performance figures but claimed they were able to migrate battery modules around the car to enhance "spaciousness and serenity" thanks to the Ultium platform's wireless battery management technology. The sleek appearance and exceptionally low, sports car-like sitting position were also made possible by this flexibility.
