Cadillac Escalade Will Be Available In Italy With Factory-Installed LPG

Fuel prices are growing globally, and some automakers are not ignoring the issue and are proposing innovative solutions. General Motors has redesigned the Cadillac Escalade SUV and will reintroduce it in Italy.

Customers in Italy will be able to order the new Escalade with a 6.2-liter V8 engine providing 420 hp and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm), or a 3.0-liter diesel engine delivering 277 hp and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm). The Escalade will also be offered with an extra LPG system.

The LPG has a 100-liter capacity and is mounted externally under the vehicle. The base price of the Cadillac Escalade in Italy is €138,980, which includes all applicable taxes.
