Buick Wildcat Concept - The Most Nonconformist Buick Ever Seen!
by AllAutoExperts | 6 November, 2015
Buick has managed to lose interest in the brand in the last couple of years because of the dull SUVs and sedans that seem to have been released to fill a retiree's life.An independent designer called Marc Senger believes that its time for some changes and thus, he created the Wildcat concept.
The design you see here is pretty wild, with influences from the 1954 Buick Wildcat II. The car aims to attract new customers and revive the brand. Some of the main rivals of Wildcat are the Audi TT and BMW Z4.
The car is powered by a 5.5 liters engine, which works with an Electra charger and a turbo-compressor. This motor-compressor is supposed to release 582 hp at a torque of 7900 rpm, which will help the car reach the first 100 km/h in only 3.9 seconds.
All we can say is that this all sounds good in theory, but we won't see it in practice, since there are no valid plans on producing the concept.
