Brabus' Touch: Transforming The Electric Smart #1 Inside And Out
by AutoExpert | 11 July, 2024
The electric Smart #1 SUV now offers many aftermarket options from Brabus, including changes to the outside, inside, and chassis. Brabus's personalization initiative starts with a more noticeable aero package made of premium polyurethane.
For starters, a redesigned garnish for the bumper intakes and a more noticeable splitter significantly reduce lift on the front axle at high speeds, according to the manufacturer. Meanwhile, at the back, we can see an updated diffuser with the Brabus logo and the big rear wing.
Equivalent in size to the factory wheels, the profile receives an update with a fresh set of 19-inch Monoblock Z alloy wheels. A 21-inch version is one possible variant of the ten-spoke design seen in the "Platinum Edition" specification. The sports springs allow for a height drop of 1.4 inches for the Smart #1 model.
As for the inside, the tuner installed aluminum pedals, as well as a pair of lighted scuff plates with the Brabus emblem. The red piping on the floor and black velour trunk mats complement the thoughtful #1 Brabus interior. The personalization program also includes significant performance improvements.
With a combined output of 422 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, the tandem electric motors enable a 3.9-second acceleration from 0-62 mph. The 66 kWh battery pack gives the sporty Smart #1 a WLTP range of 248 miles.
Prices for these performance-enhancing parts are available upon request, ensuring that potential buyers can plan their upgrades within their budget. Although the majority of these parts cater to the Smart #1, they can also enhance performance in lower-end models.
