BMW Increases US i4, 7 Series, And i7 Model Lineups For 2024

The year 2024 promises to be an exciting one for BMW enthusiasts in the United States, as the renowned automaker is set to broaden its range of offerings. Behold! Along with a variety of new trims for the illustrious 7 Series, a brand-new i4 variant will grace our presence.

The highly anticipated 2024 i4 xDrive40 from BMW is set to hit the US market in the third quarter of the year. This impressive electric vehicle boasts a dual-motor system that delivers a whopping 396 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.9 seconds, making it a thrilling ride for any driver.

The vehicle's battery has a capacity of 80.7 kilowatt-hours and is capable of providing an estimated range of 307 miles when paired with the 18-inch wheels that have been optimized for aerodynamics. With the 19-inch wheels, the range decreases to 282 miles. Starting at $62,595, the prices are quite reasonable.

BMW has also announced that they will be introducing three new models to their 7 Series lineup in 2024. These new offerings include the 750e xDrive, the i7 eDrive50, and the 740i xDrive. Clients can expect to pay a premium price of $107,995 for this luxury item. BMW is all set to launch the i7 eDrive50 in the US by the end of this year. The starting price of this model will be $106,695.

BMW enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that the automaker is set to commence production of the 740i xDrive for 2024 in July. This version will come equipped with all-wheel drive and a powerful 449 hp engine. Deliveries of the highly anticipated product will commence in the third quarter of this year. The starting price for this item is set at $100,395.

In the near future, BMW also plans to release the latest iteration of its iDrive operating system. The latest update brings a fresh look to the screen and menu layouts, along with various enhancements. The carmaker has announced that they will be rolling out their latest 8.5 OS on their upcoming iX, i4, and 7 Series models starting in July. In August, the OS installation for the X5, X6, X7, and XM crossovers will be made available.
