BMW i4 M50 Debuts Next Month But, There Are Still Questions In The Air
by AutoExpert | 21 May, 2021
After announcing the i4, BMW confirmed everyone’s high hopes on an M Performance version being an option for their future projects. Finally, we got a picture of the i4 M50 showing a sportier-looking electric vehicle with a blacked-out grille featuring M badging.
You could also spot the more aggressive front bumper with revised air intakes. BMW is considering changing its style adding aerodynamic mirrors, unique front fender vents, and two-tone wheels and features Shadowline trim. BMW confirmed also the output numbers and we should be impressed getting more than the 523-horsepower offered with the standard i4. We could freely imagine that the M Performance variant could reach the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in less than 4 seconds.
As for the car’s range, the i4 could travel up to 300 miles (590 km) in the WLTP cycle, but the question remains – which version could outstand this EPA range. One thing we do know the electric M will sound offered by the composer Hans Zimmer and the fact that the EV would feature its own version of a gear change. Until the June 1stkj when more details will be revealed about the BMW i4 M50 we’ll remain with the questions answered. Unless we get lucky enough for a previous reveal or a information accidental leak.
