After Rolls-Royce announced sales record and a 12% increase in sales in 2014, there came Bentley's turn to boost its performance. In 2014, the British reached a new historic record in sales.
The year 2014 was a good one for those of Bentley who managed to increase the sales by 9%. However, the figure is smaller than that of the Rolls Royce but if we consider the total volume of sales, the luxury brand Bentley is no. 1 in the world with 11 020 units sold annually.
Among the most popular models include the new Bentley Continental GT V8 S and GT Speed coupe, the convertible, and the new Continental Flying Spur V8.
The most important markets are those from America, China, Europe, and the Middle East. However, the US market holds the Bentley global leadership; the Americans bought 29% of all the cars produced in 2014 that is 3,186 units. The Chinese were chosen with 2,670 models sold and Europeans with only 4%.
In the domestic market, the UK, Bentley delivered 1,387 cars, with six units more than in 2013. This means that 87 percent of the Bentley production went to export in 2014.
Finally, the sales in Japan increased by 5 percent, the Japanese bought up 306 vehicles (291 cars in 2013).
