Bentley Now Outfits Yacht Interiors

Bentley, known for making fancy car interiors (and not only), has decided to apply its skills to a sailboat. Bentley teamed up with Contest Yachts and used their car-crafting methods to design the inside of a 66-foot sailboat.
This boat has stitching and leather similar to what you'd find in a Bentley car. Likewise, the yacht's interior is designed with Bentley's car ideas.
The carmaker even used a fancy type of stitching and diamond patterns seen in Bentley cars. Bentley's engineering head, Dr. Matthias Rabe, said that making yacht interiors needs a lot of precision, just like making car interiors. To make sure everything fits perfectly, the builders used 3D printing and prototypes.
The CEO of Contest Yachts, Arjen Conjin, said they're so happy with this project that it's going to be the start of a new line of Bentley-style Contest Yachts. We don't know how much this special sailboat costs, but it's safe to say it's not for folks on a tight budget. Bentley's venture into yacht interiors shows they want to make things fancy for their customers, whether they're in a car or on a boat.
