Autoid's TR87 Package Transforms The BMW G87 M2 Into A 562 HP Beast
by AutoExpert | 30 July, 2024
The BMW G87 M2 has just received a remarkable upgrade with Autoid’s exclusive tuning package. The TR87 package for the BMW M2 comes with some exciting upgrades. One of the highlights is the M Performance Height Adjustable Suspension Kit, which lowers the car's stance for a sportier look and better handling.
Additionally, the Milltek Sport OPF-back exhaust system enhances the sound while boosting power and torque, though the exact gains remain undisclosed.
For those aiming to optimize their BMW M2, the optional Handling Package should be on their list. It comes with MSS Hybrid adjustable springs, Moton Uniball control arm bushes, Hardrace rear toe arms, Milway adjustable camber plates, Fast Road Geo Set Up wheel alignment, and a set of Yokohama AD09 tires.
Additionally, a CSL Map fine-tunes the software for the automatic gearbox, steering, handling, differential, and suspension. Autoid didn’t specify what changes were made to the twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine but says it now makes 562 hp and 490 lb-ft of torque. For comparison, the stock model makes 453 hp or 473 hp after the 2025 MY factory upgrades.
According to the tuner, the modified BMW G87 M2 completes the 0-62 mph sprint in 3.2 seconds, shaving 0.7 seconds off the stock time. The TR87 Package from Autoid costs £12,999 ($16,660), with the optional Handling Package adding £4,450 ($5,703), bringing the total to £17,449 ($22,370). Custom HRE 521 forged 20-inch wheels on the display car add £10,000 ($12,849), and the vented front fenders are an additional £2,499 ($3,210).
