Audi is changing the game with the new 2.0-liter turbo

In an event dedicated to the press, the German car manufacturer in Ingolstadt showed to the journalists a new engine that promises to upset the car industry with a new combustion system.
Audi presents a new philosophy, the rightsizing but not downsizing. What that means, you find out below.
The new engine has a working volume of up to 2000 cc and develops "only" 190 horsepower. The same unit is capable of producing up to 310 horsepower, the body of an Audi TTS, but not this is the main goal pursued by Germans, but the efficiency of the new engine. Officials say that the petrol unit has a torque of 320 Nm at least that can be accessed over a speed range between 1,450 and 4,400 r/m. And another very important criterion, as I said, is its efficiency! Such combined fuel consumption is not more than 5 liters / 100km!
And if we were to refer to what Audi called rightsizing, then the term is explained by developing engines that have a working volume and yield on match machine size and weight, and that can be exploited in everyday conditions without creating some discomfort, forcing drivers to rev the engine to get more guaranteed figures on the sheet.
For the construction of the new engine were used alloy components and reduce drag, while Audi engineers have packed it with technologies that reduce the time "warming" the first start. You can find more technical details following the link to see the official press release.
