Audi A7L Sedan In China Is Built On A Liftback That Is Based On A Sedan

For Chinese buyers, the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe rival is available as a sedan. Audi A7L, an extended A7 with a conventional three-box shape, made its official premiere in the spring of last year. The A7L is a sedan built on a liftback based on a sedan, as the A7 is essentially a liftback variation of the A6 sedan. It is manufactured by the SAIC-Audi partnership and is only available in China.
What is the size difference between Audi A7L and A6 in China? The elegant sedan is just a few millimeters longer than the Chinese A6 (197.32 in/5,012 mm) at 199.8 inches (5,076 mm). The A7L has a longer wheelbase than the A6, with 119.1 in (3,026 mm) compared to 115.94 in (2,945 mm) for the A6. The vehicle is smaller than the conventional A8, yet it has a slightly longer chassis than the non-LWB A8.
The A7L's interior is similar to that of the A7 we're familiar with in the United States and Europe, however the longer wheelbase advantages the back passenger compartment. The car doesn't come equipped with a lot of fancy features, as most of them are optional. Wireless phone chargers, adaptive cruise control, cooled and massage seats, and other extras are just a few of the goodies you'll have to pay for in China.
Audi A7L is accessible with a choice of 2.0- and 3.0-liter turbocharged gas engines with varying performances. The most aggressive version is equipped with a 3.0 TFSI engine that produces 335 hp (250 kW) and is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The acceleration from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) takes only 5.6 seconds.
