Ares Modena Shows A New Side Of The Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe

Italian coachbuilder Ares Modena is set to fulfill the desires of those longing for a coupe version of the new Rolls-Royce Phantom. Their bespoke creation, the Ares Coupe for the Rolls-Royce Phantom, will be a limited-production model, introducing the sophistication of a two-door design to the sedan flagship.
Teased through renderings, the revived Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe boasts a shortened wheelbase, two sizable rear-hinged doors, and a redesigned rear section, echoing Rolls-Royce's timeless styling.
The exclusive model is offered in black or white exterior colors, both in bi-tone configurations with rose gold accents on the hood and windshield frame. Inside, the cabin features 'new materials and handmade finishes,' ensuring a unique and personalized touch for each owner. Renderings showcase rose-gold piping and an unconventional quilted pattern on the dashboard inserts, door cards, and central armrest.
While the shortened wheelbase may compromise rear passenger space compared to the standard Phantom, it adds a layer of exclusivity. Ares Modena is tight-lipped about the bespoke build's specifications, hinting at necessary modifications to the Rolls-Royce Phantom's all-aluminum "Architecture of Luxury" chassis and the extensively redesigned two-door body style.
Power is expected to come from the twin-turbo 6.75-liter V12 engine, maintaining the factory output of 563 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. Pricing and availability details are yet to be disclosed.
Rolls-Royce discontinued the Phantom Coupe in 2016, leaving a void that Ares Modena is now addressing with their unique and limited-production coupe model.
