Alpha Announces Revamped Ace Lineup
by AutoExpert | 18 March, 2022
The Ace Coupe series has been discreetly upgraded by Alpha Motor Corporation. The vehicle, which will be available in Ace, Ace Performance Edition, and Super Ace trims, has a much longer wheelbase to handle next-generation battery tech.
The manufacturer didn't provide many details but stated that the model is now 168.5 inches (4,280 mm) long, 72.4 inches (1,840 mm) broad, and 56.3 inches (1,430 mm) tall. Fresh headlights and a slightly altered grille are also elements of the upgraded model. The inside also has a digital instrument cluster, a reduced infotainment system, air vents, and a minimalistic center console.
In addition, Alpha has partnered with AMP to create an Energy Ecosystem that includes an eCloud, a battery management system, and sophisticated charging options. The agreement enables bi-directional charging as well as a tiny, lightweight, and energy-efficient Energy Management Unit, which increases range.
The coupe is also expected to have DC rapid charging capabilities as well as an on-board charger with a rate of up to 11 kW, according to the manufacturer.
Notwithstanding these modifications, Alpha claims that the old and new models have the same performance characteristics. The revised Ace is said to weigh 3,600 lbs (1,633 kg), get a range of 250+ miles (402+ km), and sprint from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 6 seconds, according to Alpha.
All specs are estimates and are prone to change. No indication yet on when the vehicles will debut.
