After A Record-Breaking Year In Sales, The 2022 Nissan Patrol Receives A Minor Facelift In Australia
by AutoExpert | 14 February, 2022
The Y62-generation Nissan Patrol has been revised in Australia for the 2022 model year, following a rise in sales. Local purchasers can choose between two versions of the 2022 Patrol: Ti and Ti-L. The Ti has a blackened grille, a revised Nissan brand symbol, and altered front fender vents. The top-of-the-line Ti-L variant gets the same redesigned front fender vents and brand logo but keeps the chrome-stalled grille.
The same 5.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol V8 powers both Patrol models, producing 400 hp (298 kW) and 413 lb-ft (560 Nm) of torque. The Patrol is equipped with a seven-speed automatic gearbox and sophisticated 4x4 technology to provide traction in even the most challenging situations.
Nissan Patrol Ti starts at AU$82,160 ($58,608), while the Ti-L costs AU$95,115 ($67,850). The price difference between the two can be explained by a variety of extra features.
The Patrol Ti-L, for instance, is a seven-seater with a memory function in the driver's seat. It also comes with a first-row center console nice box, a 13-speaker Bose audio system, two second-row 8-inch entertainment screens with headsets and remote control, an Intelligent Rear View Monitor, a power-operated tailgate, roof rails, and much more.
Last year was Nissan Patrol's highest sales year in Australia since 2008. With 612 units sold in September, the Patrol had its greatest month ever.
