30 Minutes Are Enough For Tata Avinya Concept To Cover 310 Miles
by AutoExpert | 30 April, 2022
Tata Motors' news is rare, and we were surprised. The Tata Avinya concept car was unveiled by the Indian carmaker as a sneak peek of the company's electric aspirations. The Avinya is a visually intriguing concept with absolutely minimal overhangs that indicate its specific electric vehicle chassis.
It was designed from the ground up as an electric vehicle, instead of relying on a platform designed for internal combustion. Until more information becomes available, Tata Motors says the unidentified battery pack can power the vehicle for at least 310 miles on a single charge. It has big wheels, similar to those found on the Volkswagen ID.3.
The Tata emblem is depicted by the slender headlights, and the taillights are similar. The Avinya replaces traditional side mirrors with cameras, which have become increasingly popular. Moreover, the relatively flat roofline allows for a roomy interior.
Due to the vehicle's expanded wheelbase from having the wheels pushed all the way to the edges, the minimalist interior has plenty of room for passengers' legs. Tata's innovative GEN 3 architecture, designed for custom EVs, will power the Avinya when it goes into production in 2025.
