80th Anniversary Jeep Wrangler, Cherokee And Grand Cherokee Celebrated In Australia

Jeep decided to celebrate its 80 years of producing and launched the limited-run Cherokee, Wrangler, and Grand Cherokee models in Australia. The 80th Anniversary variants of the Cherokee, Wrangler, and Grand Cherokee will be limited to 80, 160, and 160 units respectively, and are arriving in local dealerships this month.
The interior for all the off-roaders features black leather upholstery with Light Tungsten accent stitching and of course, the 80th Anniversary tag on the front seats. Both Cherokee and Grand Cherokee models will have optional upgraded Berber floor mats that include 80th Anniversary tags while the Wrangler sports an 80th Anniversary plaque on the swing gate. All three models include 80th Anniversary plaques on their dashboards.
“Since 1941, Jeep SUVs have been renowned for their unparalleled off-road capability and freedom,” Jeep Australia managing director Kevin Flynn said in a statement. “Today, the Jeep range continues to drive best in class 4×4 leadership, as well as leading safety and convenience features, premium craftsmanship, and exceptional on-road dynamics. We’re excited to mark eight decades of the Jeep brand with these limited-edition models and give Jeep customers the opportunity to own a piece of history.”
Also, Jeep opted for its 80th Anniversary models the standard with Granite Crystal accents, badging, and wheels. The exterior badge features the side profile of the original Willys Jeep and standard with the company’s 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen that includes a special ‘Since 1941’ greeting on startup. Prices for the 80th Anniversary Jeep vehicles vary between AU$51,941 (US$40,192) and AU $71,941 (US$55,699).
