3,000 New BMW, MINI, And Alpina Cars Have Rusted In A Parking Lot For 6 Years

Around 3,900 BMW, MINI, and Alpina automobiles are parked in a Vancouver parking lot. It was 6 years beneath the open sky!
These vehicles were all exposed to water and salt while being stored in the Halifax Port on their trip from Germany in 2015. As part of a formal agreement with Transport Canada, the entire shipment of new cars was recalled in order to prevent dangerous operation.
Sea water has shown to have numerous damaging effects, such as the destruction of electronic systems: all the recalled cars are destroyed. To get additional vehicles, BMW and MINI dealers gave something of equal value in return. At this parking lot, we can observe numerous models of BMW's top performance cars, such as the BMW M4, M6, and the BMW i8, but also extremely uncommon cars such as the Alpina B6.
