Volvo has just released comprehensive pricing for its much-anticipated 2025 EX30 electric vehicle. While it was already known that the base model would be priced at $36,245, inclusive of a $1,295 destination fee, we now have pricing specifics for the various trim levels including Core, Plus, and Ultra models.
The EX30 will hit the market with an option for either a single-motor or a high-performance dual-motor configuration. The single-motor model churns out 268 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque, whereas its twin-motor counterpart boasts a remarkable 422 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. With an acceleration of 0-60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds, the twin-motor EX30 claims the title of the fastest Volvo to date.
While all the trims—including Core, Plus, and Ultra—can be equipped with the single-motor powertrain, only the Plus and Ultra versions can be fitted with the high-performance dual-motor configuration.
The Plus and Ultra variants are designed to offer a heightened level of luxury compared to the Core model. Although further details are awaited, what we do know is that the Plus trim includes luxuries such as a Harman Kardon Premium audio system, a dual-tone Onyx Black panoramic roof, and 19-inch wheels.
The Ultra level takes opulence a notch higher, featuring advanced technological extras like Volvo’s next-gen Pilot Assist. This includes Lane Change Assistance, a 360-degree camera providing a 3D view, and Park Pilot Assist.
When it comes to range, the single-motor EX30 impresses with an EPA-estimated 275 miles, while its dual-motor sibling offers a still-impressive 265 miles.
Customers who have already placed their deposits for the 2025 EX30 will have the option to customize their vehicles later this fall. The Swedish automaker has announced that they will commence deliveries of the new electric car in the first half of 2024.
