2024 Rezvani Beast: Unleashing a Hypercar Powerhouse with a Corvette Heart
by AutoExpert | 16 February, 2024
10 years ago, Ferris Rezvani launched a company with his very own name on the entrance and presented the world to the Beast. Now, the company celebrates its one decade anniversary with a second-generation model - 2024 Rezvani Beast - that transforms the series, namely the Corvette C8 branded by GM, into a hypercar-rivaling powerhouse - even if Rezvani is skillful in avoiding the truth.
The new model features a series of unparalleled characteristics, as it has been stated by the company.
Although this is a bold affirmation, let's start with more conventional details. The 2024 Rezvani Beast is, in essence, a re-skinned Corvette C8 - powered by an improved version of the mid-mounted 6.2-liter V8. Thanks to a pair of turbochargers, it now generates a mind-blowing figure of 1.000 hp in “Beast Mode”, or twice as much as the base C8 model.
The GM engine is delivering power to the wheels via an eight-speed DCT transaxle from Tremec, which comes along with striking speed changes and a limited-slip differential.
Courtesy of the fast changes and enormous power quantities, Rezvani claims that Beast can blade 0–60 mph in a split of 2.5 seconds. In addition, the 20-inch wheels cloaked in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires can be helpful.
Much like the exterior, the Beast's insides are borrowed from the Corvette C8 - but strongly customized with a revised lower center console, a yoke steering wheel of sorts, and bespoke upholstery.
As of yet, all the stuff is pretty standard, and its design, which is undoubtedly attractive - didn’t exactly rock the segment.
Although what highlights the Beast are the optional packages offered by the company. Let’s dive into them:
The 55.000 USD Bullet Proof package brings to the table body panels to the vehicle and bulletproof glass. However, if you want to feel like a true spy - the 45.000 USD “007” package can help you with that.
The “007” includes unique accessories, such as gas masks, an intercom system, a hypothermia kit, a thermal night vision setup, and strobe lights.
Can’t forget the first aid kit and the hypothermia kit. Moreover, some features were added that we found oddly strange - magnetic deadbolts, a pepper spray dispenser, electrified door handles, etc.
If you are at least half as childish as Rezvani, hurry up to get your childhood car, as only 20 figures will be produced. Each vehicle will rock a 485.000 USD price tag.
