2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Introduced In 300 4Matic Mild Hybrid Configuration

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe has arrived, boasting slight increases in size compared to its predecessor. While the exterior changes are an evolution of its previous design, the new model features a completely overhauled interior, highlighted by a large portrait-oriented center touchscreen and a 12.3-inch driver display mounted in a floating-landscape style.
The lower front fascia and rear fascia have been updated, with slimmer headlights and taillights completing the refreshed look. Under the hood, the GLC Coupe is powered by the same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine found in the standard GLC, equipped with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to generate 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
It's worth mentioning that, currently, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is only available in the 300 4Matic trim level, which comes with the standard AMG Line package. This means that all GLC Coupes come equipped with the eye-catching AMG star grille and ride on 19-inch wheels, although 20-inch wheels are available as an option. The new design of the car has reduced the drag coefficient to 0.27, and the inside is luxurious with a leather-lined dashboard and various wood veneers for decoration.
Cargo capacity is 19.2 cubic feet, which is less than the basic GLC but more than the GLC Coupe from the previous model year. When the second seat is folded flat, cargo capacity increases to 52.6 cubic feet, which is a significant increase over the previous generation.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe comes standard with a wide variety of high-tech driving aids. Mercedes has included the Surround Vision 360-degree camera to aid navigation in confined situations in addition to the standard suite of sensors and warning systems. It is especially helpful for off-road driving because the camera has a transparent hood function that shows the landscape in front of the car. The GLC Coupe also has an off-road mode with hill-descent control as a standard feature.
Mercedes has not yet announced the price of the 2024 GLC Coupe or given a definite release date beyond saying it would be out "later in 2023."
