2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Introduced In 300 4Matic Mild Hybrid Configuration

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe has arrived, boasting slight increases in size compared to its predecessor. While the exterior changes are an evolution of its previous design, the new model features a completely overhauled interior, highlighted by a large portrait-oriented center touchscreen and a 12.3-inch driver display mounted in a floating-landscape style.
The lower front fascia and rear fascia have been updated, with slimmer headlights and taillights completing the refreshed look. Under the hood, the GLC Coupe is powered by the same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine found in the standard GLC, equipped with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to generate 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
It's worth mentioning that, currently, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is only available in the 300 4Matic trim level, which comes with the standard AMG Line package. This means that all GLC Coupes come equipped with the eye-catching AMG star grille and ride on 19-inch wheels, although 20-inch wheels are available as an option. The updated design of the vehicle results in a lower drag coefficient of 0.27, while the interior features a leather-lined dashboard with a variety of wood veneers for trimming.
There is a cargo space of 19.2 cubic feet located behind the rear seats, which is slightly less than what the standard GLC offers but slightly more than last year's GLC Coupe. When the second row is folded down, the total cargo space expands to 52.6 cubic feet, representing an improvement over the previous model.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is equipped with an abundance of advanced driver-assist systems. In addition to the typical array of sensors and warning systems, Mercedes has incorporated the Surround View 360-degree camera to assist with navigating in tight spaces. The camera features a transparent hood function that displays the terrain directly in front of the vehicle, which is especially useful for off-road driving. Furthermore, the GLC Coupe includes a standard off-road mode with hill-descent control.
At this time, Mercedes has not disclosed the pricing for the 2024 GLC Coupe, nor have they provided an exact date for its availability beyond stating that it will be released later in 2023.
