BMW is preparing to introduce the new 5 Series and the i5, which have been specifically designed to cater to the Chinese market. Both of these impressive models will be manufactured at the Dadong plant, which is a joint venture between BMW and Brilliance.
These new models are set to introduce a variety of features specifically designed for the Chinese market. The sedan will only be available in a long-wheelbase configuration in China.
Based on the previous generation's increase of approximately 5.1 inches, it is reasonable to expect that the 2024 version will have a length of approximately 204 inches.
Once inside, the new 5 Series for China showcases an impressive 31.1-inch panoramic display, a luxurious feature borrowed from the esteemed 7 Series. Four-zone climate control and a premium Bower & Wilkins audio system further improve the driving experience.
The exterior design of the car is intended to impress, featuring a unique and eye-catching element that is only available in the Chinese market: a luminous emblem in the shape of the number "5". The emblem on the i5 variant pulses in light blue while charging, and it is located in the region of the Hofmeister kink.
Meanwhile, the logo on the 5 Series illuminates in a stylish white color. The carmaker will introduce the new 5 Series family in China soon, specifically targeting Chinese luxury car enthusiasts who have refined preferences.
