2023 Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 Arrives With Up To 751 HP

We bring you great news straight from IAA Mobility Show 2021! Mercedes has just unveiled its high-performance electric limousine. When equipped with the optional Dynamic Plus package, the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ has a maximum output of 751-hp and steers and drives all four wheels.
In the fastest model, AMG-specific electric motors produce 649-hp (484kW/658PS) and torque of 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) in a dual-motor configuration. In addition to the 751-hp and 1020 Nm that comes with the Dynamic Plus package, the Race Start mode is required to unlock the full potential of the engine. That's faster than the normal version's 3.8 secs to go from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph).
If you choose the Dynamic Plus package, your max speed is electronically constrained to 250 km/h (155 mph), up from the regular 220 km/h (137 mph). 400-volt lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 107.8 kWh and AMG-specific wiring store the energy.
Although the range will be less than the non-AMG variant's 479-miles, it's still impressive for an electric vehicle that weighs 2,655 kg (5,853 lbs). There is standard rear-axle steering of up to 9°, which makes the vehicle more responsive and lessens its turning radius.
Front and rear four-link axles with AMG-specific components make up the standard AMG RIDE CONTROL+ adaptive air suspension. Braking power is enhanced by the AMG high-performance compound brake system, which includes 415 mm discs at the front and 378 mm discs at the rear. Front 440 mm AMG ceramic brakes are also possible. I-Booster makes the most of power recovery and hydraulic brakes in both scenarios.
The front and rear bumpers on the AMG EQS are identical to those on the AMG Line. But the vertical chrome features on the front, the bigger rear spoiler as well as the 21- or 22-inch AMG alloy wheels in Aero or Heritage design set it apart from the rest of the division.
Further customization choices for the electric limo include the AMG Night Package Dark Chrome, AMG carbon trim pieces, and bright red brake calipers. After all, a drag coefficient of 0.23 Cd on the new Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 is still better than that of the ordinary version's 0.20 Cd.
The AMG Track Pace telemetry system, which is optional, is also included in the MBUX infotainment system. Sports accents in the cabin also include AMG seats, which are covered in Artico man-made leather, the Nappa leather flat-bottom AMG steering wheel, the aluminum paddle shifters with red stitching, and the AMG floor mats and door sill plates.
When the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ goes on sale, pricing will be disclosed. The Affalterbach performance limousine will be available in the United States in early 2022.
