2023 Audi A4 Range Welcomes The Electric and Hybrid RS Duo

Audi presented us the final plans for its A4 range and happily welcomes the new duo - an electric-only four-wheel-drive performance RS model and a hybrid RS4. It might seem that the new duo will have a go on two different platforms a combustion-engine hybrid variant and a pure-electric-models.
This is Audi's six-generation for the A$ range and is expected in the UK not before then 2023 and the automaker is ready to compete against BMW 3 Series. The new A4 offered range presents upgraded petrol and diesel engines. The new engines will be equipped with optional mild- or plug-in hybrid assistance and front- and four-wheel-drive (Quattro) layouts.
Since Audi already confirmed its electrified models from mild hybrids up to the PHV, the automaker intends on extending the new trend towards its RS4 successor. As for the engine, the RS4 will carry under the hood the latest twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 petrol engine which will be aided by electric assistance offering up to 450 horsepower and 600 Newton-meters to today’s model.
Another Audi project is the pure-electric A4 E-Tron which according to Audi’s released statement is a concept aimed to compete on the market against Tesla Model 3, even the BMW i4. E-Tron promotes the Audi and Volkswagen Group’s joint engineering program is based around the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture that has been developed in a joint engineering program between Audi and Volkswagen Group sibling company Porsche. Audi should introduce up to 20 new pure-electric models by 2025.
The extension might even towards near-field communication functionality being developed by Audi and Huawei as part of the new digital and connectivity features. Imagine the possibility of contactless payment for refueling or charging, tolls, parking, drive-through dining, and other services from within the car – all that available thanks to the MyAudi app. We hope there will more by the electrification wave until 2030.
