All that available before it'll be reaching dealerships this fall in Japan, yet no time was confirmed for the U.S. market, but it'll be available for PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 gamers all around the world.
Gran Turismo Sport isn't just a game for car fans and adrenaline seekers. It's all about experiencing the car's specification on a virtual race. The manufacturer's Gazoo Racing division confirmed that the game will make a clearer view of what a GR86 sports car can do with a rear-wheel-drive system. Get ready for the online Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup. The race challenges its players in seven rounds of one-make races featuring GR road cars and race cars such as GR Supra, GR Yaris, SF19, and the 2000GT. The competition is tight.
According to Grand Turismo Sports' rules, qualifying rounds will start on April 25 and will run until August The grand final is scheduled for December 3. The GR 86 will race in round seven at Mount Panorama on August 22's competition. Meanwhile, Gazoo Racing already has confirmed the possibility of joining the game's car roster earlier in the "middle of the year."
There's a real chance to see the Toyota GR 86 in Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 5, even if the game has been delayed until 2022. Polyphony Digital, the developer of Gran Turismo, is fond of Toyota's cars in this game, and due to their friendship, it's no surprise that the GR86 is making its debut on a virtual race before hitting the streets. We'll see what a real rear-wheel-drive sports coupe is capable of on a race track.
