2022 Jeep Wrangler Gets High Tide Trim And A Beach Edition
by AutoExpert | 8 February, 2022
Jeep Beach Week has become one of the greatest yearly festivals of Jeep automobiles in the United States, and the brand is marking the occasion with a new limited-edition model. The Wrangler Jeep Beach is based on the most recent Wrangler Hide Tide and boasts special hood decals.
Only 500 units will be made, with prices starting at $49,240. Next month, the limited edition will be available for order. The special edition isn't all that unusual, but it's based on the Wrangler Hide Tide 2022, which comes with a slew of enhancements. The Xtreme Recon Package is included in this model, which builds on the Sport S trim.
The package includes a 1.5-inch (38-mm) suspension lift and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with 35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires. Expanded fender flares, a 4.56 rear axle ratio, and a stronger hinge-gate are some of the other things about this car. Jeep Wrangler Hide Tide comes standard with LED illumination, rock rails, and a Gorilla Glass windshield, in addition to the Xtreme Recon Pack. A body-color hardtop with a Sunrider Fliptop is also available.
The 2022 Jeep Wrangler High Tide will be available for order later this month, with a starting price of $49,240, the same as the Wrangler Jeep Beach special edition. Both have a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that generates 285 hp (213 kW / 289 PS) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. It comes equipped with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive.
Aside from the High Tide and Jeep Beach trim levels, the carmaker has revealed a new High-Velocity body color for the 2022 Wrangler. As a $395 alternative, the hue will be available on all Wranglers. The prices do not include a $1,595 destination fee.
