Jaguar F-Type is now only available in Australia with a V8 engine, as part of a wider range upgrade. It is also available in the United States with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine.
These powertrains were formerly available to Australian purchasers, but the F-Type lineup has been pared down to just two models: the F-Type R-Dynamic P450 and the F-Type R Coupe, which was introduced last year.
Powered with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with 444 hp (331 kW) and 580 Nm of torque from 2,500 rpm, Jaguar F-Type R-Dynamic P450 is offered in Coupe and Convertible variants. Using an eight-speed automatic gearbox, the P450 can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.6 secs and reach a max speed of 177 mph (285 km/h).
With the R-Dynamic Pack, all Jaguar F-Type P450 cars are equipped with 20-inch wheels with a glossy dark grey and contrasting diamond-turned treatment, as standard. There is a fixed panoramic roof, external design black pack and aluminum gearshift paddles in addition to the 20-inch Satin Grey 5-split spoke wheels and Blind Spot Assist Pack included on the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe for the 2022 model year.
Jaguar F-Type R Coupe is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 that produces 567 hp (423 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque, giving in a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time of 3.7 secs and an electrically assisted max speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
The 2022 F-Type R-Dynamic P450 Coupe starts at AU$159,900 (US$118,000), while the P450 Convertible starts at AU$164,900 (US$122,000) in Australia. The F-Type R Coupe is the most expensive model, costing AU$264,955 (US$196,000).
