2021 VW Polo GTI Comes With Some Cool Twists
by AutoExpert | 30 June, 2021
The drivers will surely enjoy all the twists that come packed on the freshly reveal 2021 VW Polo GTI. First of all, this one kind of looks like the facelifted models, featuring the new taillights and headlights. The new IQ.Light LED matrix from VW illuminates the front grille, while the rear lighting is a delicate reminder of Audi’s lights.
The GTI bumpers have been revised, with a POLO badge now proudly standing where we used to see the GTI sign. However, the red GTI line is still embellishing the front grille, blending into the headlights.
The performances stay the same, with 207 hp coming out of the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-pot engine, with 320 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch, making the car reach the first 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and topping the speed at 240 km/h.
The suspension has been lowered and an electronic differential has been added as an option. Future owners may also opt for the Sport Select suspension, firming up the drive and improving gearbox shifting, steering, and engine response.
As for the interior, you may choose sport seats now. The board trim is finished in glossy red with matte accents. Great news comes with the infotainment system, which features a high-resolution 8-inch touchscreen. The infotainment system can be optionally upgraded to the Discover Pro version, which comes with a 9.2-inches screen, cloud connectivity, wireless integration with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and streaming services accessibility.
Another big news refers to the partially autonomous VW IQ.Drive driving features installed on 2021 VW Polo GTI. The system comes with lane assist, radar, and predictive cruise control, among others.
No exact launch dates have been announced but it will not take more than a few months till 2021 VW Polo GTI hits the dealerships.
