2021 Acura TLX Type S Sports Sedan Is Expected To Star In This Weekend

Every fan of the next 2021 Acura TLX Type S should get a sit to celebrate at the Acura Sports Car Challenge IMSA Race at Mid-Ohio public debut this weekend. It’s where the next sports sedan will star the green flag for the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race. This weekend the Acura TLX will be wearing a Tiger Eye Pearl paint finish designed exclusively for it
The event was automaker's best opportunity to show off the 2021 TLX Type S sporty spirit. Powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine, it’ll get you at least 355 horsepower and up to 480 Newton-meters of torque, via a single twin-scroll turbocharger, dual overhead cam, and direct injection.
The whole package is coupled to a ten-speed sport-tuned automatic transmission and the brand’s Super-Handling All-wheel Drive (SH-AWD) with torque vectoring. Acura will give an optional exclusive Sport+ driving mode, a double-wishbone front suspension, and the famous Brembo brakes.
Everything is ULTRA about the Type S’ interior - Ultrasuede upholstery, heated and ventilated 16-way power-adjustable front seats. ‘Type S’ embroidery on the headrests are marking the interior gasping for attention, while the flat-bottom steering wheel, 10.2-inch infotainment system with sat-nav, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and 17-speaker Els Studio 3D premium audio speak for ultra-modern technical specifications.
Type S features a uniquely designed open-surface Diamond Pentagon grille that helps increase the airflow, front splitter, rear diffuser, quad exhaust pipes, and two-wheel designs, and, of course, an optional lightweight set for the sedan’s pace inspired straight from the NSX.
Acura only confirmed a presumable rumor about a lower than $50,000 price for the next 2021 Acura TLX Type S.
