What’s Next in Line for Ford Mustang And F-150?

After the debut of the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 and its 5.2-liter supercharged "Predator" V8 with 760 horsepower and 625 lb.-ft of torque, you keep wondering What’s next in line to surprise you. According to Jerry Dias, the Canadian auto union Unifor's national president claimed in the Windsor Star that Ford will bring a 6.8-liter V8 engine to its famed muscle car.
This exquisite engine is destined for the Ford F-150. Ford did not provide any comments on the speculations, but looking at Ford’s past engines, a modular 6.8-liter V10 might seem unreal. Any modifications to the current naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote V8 seems very unlikely. But 7.3-liter Godzilla V8 there appears a much realistic possibility.
Currently, the 2021 F-150 has six engine options. We hope that such a powerful engine will be available for the Ford 2022 models.
